There aren’t many companies left in North America who do things the way Aquarian Leather does. They produce their items by hand. They design with timelessness in mind. They mostly ignore fashion trends. They are obsessive about quality.
The Department has close ties to Aquarian Leather. We built their website, and produced the video at the top of this page. Their values are right in line with what we at The Department think is important.
One final note. The music for this film was made by our good friend Mark at Obsolete Components. He uses sophisticated synthesizers and other instruments from the 1980s to create a wide array of music. You can see our story about him here.
