It’s easy these days for a man to convince himself he doesn’t need a suit. The world has become so much more informal. Many workplaces don’t require suits, nor do most occasions. A suit is, quite simply, optional in almost all situations now.
All the more reason to go out and buy one, we say. It doesn’t take long to realise that wearing a fine suit has, oddly, become one of the easiest ways to stand out from the crowd. You’ll look great, and you won’t look like everyone else. We love that.
Now, we’re not like some of those men’s magazines that will have you believe that you can’t look good in a suit unless it costs as much as a brand new car. Done right, you can look like a million bucks in a suit that costs hundreds.
Having said that, it’s always interesting to hear from the great craftsmen of this industry. The ones who can and do make suits worth tens of thousands of dollars. We admire Marcello Tarantino‘s suits. And (this part is at least as important) we admire his passion for looking great.
